Among other things, I consider myself an environmentalist. What it means to be an environmentalist to me? It means living in this planet we call Earth, respecting its natural resources, creating balance and harmony with my fellow humans, my closed companion, my wife, my friends, relatives and neighbors.
I am here to address some shocking and abusing facts from a row of specialty groups of people that are going in a totally opposite direction from the Congressional Noise Control Act of 1972 and my personal philosophy and way of living.
1. The first ones are the specialty groups that requested and the engineers that installed in the new electric trolley buses acoustic instruments of noise, putting the San Francisco Electric Trolley Muni Buses through its, FTA transportation policys, and SFMTA, MAAC, PSAC, CAC, in right acoustic position of conflict and contradiction with the Congressional Noise Control Act of 1972, CALIFORNIA CODES HEALTH AND SAFETY CODE SECTION 46000-46002, SECTION 46060-46062, SECTION 46080, that branches many existent Federal Environmental Health and Local Laws. In addition with Human Health scientists, please check the The Franklin Institute Online in regards to noise on the brain section. We live in a age of technological advances. We do not need to shoot anyone with noise or voice signals or any other type of noise. My question here is: -Would make more sense to give a cell phone with (plug in ear phones) connected to a satellite to the disable and elderly so they can move around the city and do their business? --May I add we will live respecting the humans and their environment without braking any acoustic ethical rule of Law.
