First as a reminder, I do not want people to have the wrong idea about all this event or think I am only criticizing the San Francisco City administration. We are not for case generalization but for case specific. Sure we are thankfull for some of the work that the DPW does for the neighborhood. However I think that some good actions doesn't always validate the wrong ones. Half of a job done is not a complete job done. Therefore I am just reporting on the event with the intention to resolve it. I will take action when it is necessary and let you know what I personally think about the issue and what I would have done if I was the party responsible, in this case the DPW attendant secretary.

So here is the report in this case:
1st call:
Wednesday 11.19.03, Time: 121:05 PM. I called DPW to report on the defected lid. The secretary I spoke to gave me the Case # 2003 - 5883.
2nd call: Monday 11.24.03- Spoke to the Office of Clis Wong, 554-5810, and his secretary said that this case is assigned to the worker named, James Galvis. I could not talk to Mr. Galvis personally, he was out of his desk. Left a message telling him that at least he should come by and secure the sidewalk telephone defected lid with those orange construction cones or sign easels until the lid gets fixed.
