Today 11.25.03-
No sign of the DPW workers or the requested construction cones. I think in the event of a DPW worker negligence, we citizens must take charge and secure the place until they get the problem fixed in their own sweet time, so I did just that. I went around the block and found some construction easel signs and I secured the place.
3rd call: Talk to DPW again, this time was other person from our group that called: The 2nd case # is 2003 - 5966. We told them that is a Pacbell telephone utility box. After all these days had passed the person we talked to in the first day washed her hands and transferred the case to the Pacific Bell. Her own words was: "Well then you must call Pacbell and complain to them!"

Thursday 11.27.03- I secured the site with construction easels and Today we received a phone call from Pacific Bell. The person on the line told us he cannot find the damadge lid. Obs: In all calls we specific told them that the mencioned lid was located on the South side of Taylor and East side of Union street corner.
